You can now manage your LinkedIn messages directly in GoHighLevel. This allows you to view and send LinkedIn messages without leaving your GoHighLevel account
Step 1: Resync Your GoHighLevel Integration
Before you start, make sure your GoHighLevel integration access settings for Closely are up to date
To do this, resync your integration and enable LinkedIn message sync in the settings during the resync process.
Step 2: Enable Inbox Sync in Your LinkedIn Account Settings
After resyncing, you need to enable the sync option in your LinkedIn account settings
Go to your Accounts tab, click on the three dots next to your LinkedIn account, then select Account Settings. Next, open the Profile Settings tab and turn on the Sync Inbox option. Here, you can choose the subaccounts where the contacts will be synced to
Please note: The sync option is disabled by default. Make sure it’s turned on before syncing your contacts and sending LinkedIn messages within your GoHighLevel account
Step 3: Sync Your Contacts
Once the sync option is enabled, try syncing one of your contacts with GoHighLevel.
If you need help with this process, check our guide here: GoHighLevel Integration
Step 4: View and Manage Messages in GoHighLevel
After the contact is synced, open the contact in GoHighLevel. You can also click View on GoHighLevel in Closely to open it directly
In GoHighLevel, you will see different options to reach out to your contact. To send a LinkedIn message, choose the LinkedIn Messages option and type your message
When you click Send, the message will appear with a Pending status. This means the message is waiting to be sent from your LinkedIn account. Once sent, the messages will also appear in both your Closely Inbox and your LinkedIn Inbox
If the contact replies, their response will also appear in your Closely Inbox and in the GoHighLevel contact view
Please note: You can only send LinkedIn messages in GoHighLevel to contacts you’ve previously communicated with. At the moment, sending new (first-time) messages to contacts directly from GoHighLevel is not supported (we're working on it)
