Open tracking, an automatic feature, monitors when your emails are opened. Click tracking allows you to gain insights into link interactions.

First, you need to add the custom domain to your email account to be able to use this feature in the multichannel campaign. You can find here more information how to set your custom domain.

To add your domain, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Accounts" tab.

  2. Click on the three dots next to your account.

  3. Access the "Tracking Domain" tab.

  4. Add your desired domain for open tracking.

Remember, after adding the domain, verification is necessary to ensure accurate tracking


How to enable Open and Click tracking?

You can activate Open and Click tracking in step 3 while creating a campaign and adding the "Send Email" action

It's essential to configure your custom domain to ensure tracking takes place through your designated domain. If the domain is not added or verified, tracking defaults to the Closely domain


Where to check tracking metrics?

You can easily check the stats:

  1. In the stats next to your campaign, view the number of contacts that opened/clicked your emails.

  2. In the dashboard, find comprehensive stats from all your campaigns.

  • The "Clicked" column shows the number of contacts who clicked the link in at least one email. (Note: When tracking is disabled, this data is not displayed in the table.)

  • The "Opened" column indicates the number of contacts who opened at least one email.
