When inviting members to connect, you can add a personalized message to the recipient to introduce yourself or add context to your relationship.

Recently LinkedIn introduced a limit that will only allow free members to send a certain number of connection request messages per month.

So far, the following variations are known to exist:

1) Limited to sending 10 connection request messages a month and length of connection request message limited to 200 characters (instead of 300).

2) Limited to sending 5 connection request messages a month and length of connection request message limited to 200 characters (instead of 300).

3) Unlimited amount, but the length is limited to 200 characters

The first screenshot below was taken on the account with the abovementioned limit. The second screenshot was captured on the account without any limitations.

Please, pay attention to the current limitations of your LinkedIn account when composing a connection request in Closely campaigns. In cases when it's not possible to add a connection message at all or your connection message is too long, your connection requests will be sent without any message. In both scenarios, you'll receive a notification via email
